The incumbent, quote only
The best known name in LMS analytics, with editions named publicly and no price attached to either. The pricing page is a contact form, and the directories that track it list custom pricing.
LearnerScript
One-time, on your own server
A Moodle block at $2,450 one-time including a year of support, published openly. It runs inside your LMS, on the database your learners are using. If a perpetual on-premise licence is what you want, our self-hosted edition is the comparable.
Edwiser Reports PRO
Nine reports, $59 a year
Genuinely cheap and genuinely published, and nine reports is its whole product. LearnBoard starts free, and the paid plans buy fifty dashboards, an AI assistant on every card and reporting that puts no load on your LMS.
Zoola
Sold through a suite, quote only
A Totara and Moodle analytics plug-in with Basic, Gold and Platinum tiers named and no number published against any of them.

Canvas, not Moodle
Ask Your Data is the closest thing to our assistant anywhere in this market, and it is a Canvas product now folded into Canvas Plus and Canvas Next. It does not support Moodle, which is why it is not in the table above.

What is the best IntelliBoard alternative for LearnNoow and Moodle?
LearnBoard, if published pricing and read-only access matter to you. Fifty dashboards from $0 to $899 a month with every price on the site, billed on active learners rather than registered accounts, and no sales call to buy. There is a dedicated comparison at our IntelliBoard alternative page.
Why do four of these products not publish a price?
We cannot answer for them. What we can say is that we publish all five of ours, you can buy four of them online, and the fifth is quoted because its limits are negotiated rather than listed.
Is LearnBoard cheaper than the alternatives?
LearnBoard starts free, with ten Core dashboards that never expire, and every paid price is published. What the price buys is fifty dashboards against nine, an assistant on every card, and reporting that does not run on your LMS server.
Does LearnBoard slow our LMS down?
It should not. LearnBoard reads your LMS database over a read-only connection and prepares the numbers ahead of time, so dashboards load from cache rather than from live queries, and the rendering happens in LearnBoard rather than in your LMS.
Can we run LearnBoard on our own servers?
Yes. Self-hosted is a one-time licence at $3,990 with an optional $990 a year for updates and support, and it installs through a browser wizard rather than a consultant. It is quoted by us rather than bought online.
How current is the table above?
Checked against each vendor's own public pages and the major software directories. Where public sources did not establish something, the cell carries a dash rather than a cross.
Which platforms does LearnBoard support?
LearnNoow and Moodle. Connect either one read-only and the same dashboards, charts, alerts and AI answers run on it. Nothing is installed on LearnNoow; Moodle has two free companion plugins.
